We are celebrating NAIDOC week, celebrating our culture, music and arts!
Come along to Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation’s Family Cultural day Monday 4th of July.
We will be kicking the day off with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony followed by Traditional Dancing from 10am.
Language, culture, arts and dance workshops will be running throughout the day from Eastern Maar Citizens Vicki Couzens, Tracy Roach, Sherry Johnstone, Possum Clark, Billy Briggs and Yaraan Bundle.
First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria representatives Alice Ugle and Jordan Edwards will be available to talk everything Treaty on the day as well!
Boorook (Brett Clarke and his band) and Lee Sonnyboy Morgan and the Storm will be closing the day off with musical performances!
